Oxford Comma in the News
« on: March 16, 2017, 01:18:37 pm »
I know this topic has been discussed in this forum in the past. I saw this article today in the Guardian, a national newspaper here in the UK:

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2017/mar/16/oxford-comma-helps-drivers-win-dispute-about-overtime-pay

Interestingly, the case in question took place in the US state of Maine.

A very interesting case!  I like Oxford commas as they seem to follow a rule: an item, a comma.  Sort of mathematical.  --- tk
